The bowl market is growing – but a store is more than a good blender. What you should know about concept, location, costs and partners before you start.
Why açaí bowls work right now
Bowls hit several trends at once: plant-based, fresh, photogenic and quick. They work as breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack – and with specialty coffee on the menu, a bowl store becomes a café with a clear identity. In Munich we've proven that at Max-Weber-Platz since 2024, and in 2026 we're opening our second store in Maxvorstadt.
What a store really needs
A small unit with good footfall (university, offices, a residential neighbourhood with families), a lean menu that's quick to prepare, reliable suppliers for frozen açaí and fresh fruit, a team that knows the routine inside out – and a brand people recognise.
These are exactly the building blocks we give our partners: recipes and menu, purchasing terms, the store design, in-store training, marketing templates and ongoing support.
Who we're looking for
People who want to work in the store themselves, at least in the beginning. Who enjoy looking after guests, work cleanly and know their city. We're starting in Bavaria and southern Germany, but we're open to strong locations across the country.

FAQ
How much does it cost to open an açaí bowl store?
That depends heavily on the location, the size of the unit and the fit-out. Expect a five- to low six-figure sum for fit-out, equipment, initial set-up and opening stock – we'll go through the details with you in person.
Do I need hospitality experience?
Helpful, but not essential. What matters more is an entrepreneurial mindset, a genuine liking for guests and time spent in the store – we'll teach you the routines.
